As a result of this, and the fact that he suffered from other ailments such as low blood sugar and allergies, he was driven to develop his own non-dairy nutritional concoctions, which became known as "smoothies".[2][3] Today, Smoothie King is the second largest smoothie franchise in the United States.

    The claim that Kuhnau invented smoothies is not without controversy. In particular, Orange Julius has been making a smoothie-like beverage since the 1920s.

    Mixes is the a remix album by Australian pop–dance singer Kylie Minogue. It was released by Deconstruction Records on August 3, 1998 in the United Kingdom. First released as a special edition vinyl album, it was later released as a double-CD album due to the high demand from Minogue's fans. Mixes debuted at number sixty-three on the UK albums chart, staying on the chart for one week before leaving the top seventy-five.
